{talking about jiu jitsu}

what i wore: pleated skirt, thrifted; apple bottom jeans leather jacket, platos closet; leopard flats, target; purse, old navy

~~~~~~~
I seriously have to thank my sister Heather, for sharing this amazeballs skirt with me.  When I saw it in her closet while visiting over Thanksgiving, I became slightly ob. sessed.
In an annoying way actually.
Every store we went to, (and we went to MANY), I tried to find an exact duplicate.
My stomach almost started to hurt when on the last day, I had not found a floor length pleated skirt.
And then as we were all cozied on the couch the night before we were going to drive back home, out came my sister with an armful of clothes.
The clothes I had swooned for from her closet.
Which included this adorbs BCBG (also thrifted) dress:
Later that night….I cried.
For reals.
It was such a selfless thoughtful gift and it absolutely shows the heart my sister has.
She shares and gives, never asking for a single thing back, just because that is the person she is.
Not only did she share her clothes, but she (and my aunt Candy) took such good care of me while I was recovering from a difficult few weeks.
I kind of love her.
Mass.
I’m tearing up again.
I never wanted hand me downs when I was little….
{sometimes, i wasn’t even sure i wanted sisters….}
but now?
My life wouldn’t be complete without them.
My sisters, I mean.
{and okay, hand me downs as well….}
{btw, i have THREE sisters.  and incredibly they ALL have the same sweet, selfless, giving heart. God has truly blessed me.}
  1. Very cute outfits. I have those same leopard flats – love them. You DO have amazing sisters – you lucky, lucky girl.
  2. I love that dress. I love thrifted clothes. And I love getting my sister’s clothes now. I never could growing up bc my older sister was so tiny and my little sister was just so much younger. Now I think I’m almost the same size as them.
  3. I love my sisters (I have 2) and they got all my hand me downs! Some were good..some not so much! Cute post as always 🙂 Oh and where is that ring from!?
  4. Loooove the leather jacket. I grew up always getting my sisters clothes, I’m the youngest. Now that we’re grown up we tend to share clothes…except the untouchables. 🙂
  5. You couldn’t look any prettier! And when you started talking about your sister, I was crying right along with you.
    Btw, your hair color looks incredible!
  6. I love your jacket, super cute!!
