Say the title out loud.
Go ahead.
It’s kinda fun, ya?
My new to do ‘do.
{it doesn’t take much for a stay at home mom to be entertained.}
So, I’ve been bored.
My hair color/style that I’m sporting at the moment has been THE LONGEST moment I’ve ever had with a hairdo.
I’ve been trying to decide what’s next…and for a brief second, I thought going dark was the answer.
But, then it hit me that I am FAR too scared and WAY too attached to being blonde, that I just couldn’t bite the bullet.
And then at my last hair appointment, in walked the most adorable girl with the most adorable ombre hair.
It was then that I knew.
I’m a trend follower, I suppose…because next up….
I’m going ombre.
In fact, I’m so excited about it, that I wish I could go tomorrow…..
pretty sure since my last appointment was only a week ago though, my hair wouldn’t so much love me with all that processing.
So, I’ll wait.
Briefly.
Here’s what I love:
{if i could ever brave red. not quite there yet.}
{maybe in my darker days…not quite there yet either.}
{still massively adorable, but still….too dark too soon.}
{getting closer…..}
{JUST RIGHT!!!!}
{cute, right?!?}
{yup, yup, this is it!}
{a little more subtle…in case i get scurrrred…}
And here is what I don’t love:
Fine for them.
A little too much for my taste.
Counting down the weeks till a change!

You will love it! You know that’s what I have right? It’s so natural, less upkeep and it looks like the sun did it! Can’t wait to see the results!

I’m totally doing the ombre look. It’s taking a surprisingly long time to get there though. My stylist has been working on it for a year now and I am going for the LC look. I do love that I can go for long periods of time without getting my hair retouched (and so does my bank account hehe :).
Suzanne….I LOVE yours!!!!
And Sarah & Leann, I need to see pictures. =)
We are so hip, right?
Hi Summer, I’ve been stuck in the 80’s, since…well…the 80’s! Maybe it’s time for a change.
Thanks for the inspiration!
Ick, I finally got my hair did last week after I was starting to look a little to close to that 8th picture down….
I just don’t feel like myself if my hair isn’t ALL blonde. 🙂
This is my first visit to your blog, and I’ll definitely be back!~ your newest follower 🙂
Melissa, I’m the same way….gotta have the blonde! =)
Thanks for following!!! SO happy to have you girl!
Oh see well I love this post because it’s something I can talk from experience with! I have been ombre (we call it beliage’ here in Australia though!) for a year and a half now and I lurve it. I had wanted to actually go Brunette (from being blonde) but my lovely hairdresser suggested why not “in between” before just to see if I liked it and she was right – except I loved it! I hope you’ve had the guts to do it since the post 🙂

I am sooo with you on this, I think you may have inspired my new hair style. Am just so bored with mine at the moment, but can’t fuss with it as am a bridesmaid in a few weeks and it needs to stay the same and tidy. But I shall be booking an appointment asap after to get something done, and I think I just found it. Photo 3 me thinks!!!! Thanks
