{i swear, i was NOT a riddled anxiety crying holding my back in pain almost asleep kind of a mess while i was there! i wore MAKEUP and DID MY HAIR! i totally tried to trick him by appearing normal!}
He continued to list, and I continued to nod.
{he also told me he could have prevented me from losing my gallbladder! what the?!?}
…but he knew better.
“This isn’t magic. This is 500 years old what I’m doing….”
And as I walked out of his office with his cell phone and email address in hand (“call or text me ANYTIME you have questions, and I will always answer or get right back to you!”), I had hope for the first time in a long while.
I felt understood, listened to, and cared for.
A reason that can be fixed.
It’s been a week now on the supplements…
{supplements he doesn’t sell, btw…i don’t know, somehow that was important to me}
Do I feel better?
Amazingly, yes.
Am I totally cured?
Not yet.
But, I believe the things worth having are worth fighting for….and sometimes real complete healing takes time.
And suddenly this path I’m on, doesn’t feel so confusing anymore.
Mostly because I have a cell phone number to use anytime I have questions.
And believe me, I’ve already used it.
ps…
{this post is already WAY longer than I planned, so i’ll go into more details another time. or feel free to ask questions and i’ll answer in the comments.}
wow. that made me cry. and my heart caught with hope. could a battle which is just a cross to bear really be won? I pray it is for you Summer. If it is for you, maybe it is for me? Much love!
I know the anxiety cross very well friend. Have battled it for years. I refused to be a slave to pills tho so I begged the Lord to take it away. I don’t struggle with it as much, but there are times when it tries to creep back in. It’s a flood and I can always feel it coming. Sometimes I can fight it off, sometimes I give in and let the wave crash over me until I feel like I’m drowning.
I pray you get to feeling like a new woman soon my friend!
I can guarantee you I wil be looking up Biocytonic after I click that red X in the corner. I was nodding at them all too….thank you!!! And I will pray for your overall health to improve.
I’m sold. Will probably call him tomorrow. I think after two babies, my anxiety/hormones levels are way to extreme. Anything you can share on what to expect is appreciated. Thx Summer. Always researching the good stuff!
I’ll text you, K. But basically call to make the appt but also get on the cancellation list. At the moment he’s booked out two months, but my friend got in quick when someone cancelled.
I can’t say I’m 100% anxiety free yet….but I feel a lot better than I did a week ago before I went. Any improvement is something to me! I just want to know I tried everything I could naturally before I take anything prescribed.
His method (the holistic approach) is to go and find the problem and fix that, rather than put simply put bandaid on the symptoms.
If I fix all the health stuff that could potentially cause the anxiety…and it’s STILL there? Then dang it, give me the band aid!!! =)
Wow girl..this is amazing. I def need to talk to you more about all of it! xo!
I think I really need to look into this. I’m going through tons of tests right now (I go for my 1st colonoscopy on Friday) to see what is wrong with me. They think I have IBS & they told me that it is caused by stress. I’ve seen an ob/gyn, gastrologist, uralogist & a nutritionist. I’m taking a probiotic pill & a thing called Endefen (it’s a powder with cinnamon & other stuff) & it’s suppose to add good bacteria to your stomach. I have all the symptoms that you mentioned, the lower back ache. I wake up feeling pretty good & by noon I need to rest & take a nap. I have a 4 year old so it’s really hard. I could use any advice you might have for me.
