i went shopping and i’m happy

Sometimes it’s the little things that make me happy, and today it was getting this pink chevron iphone cover in the mail.
Now I just need a sticker with my monogram to put in the middle and it would be complete perfection.

I should mention before I continue, that shopping online makes me happy.
Period.

And it seems that it could quite possibly be getting outta control…says the man who sees the credit card bill.
BUT….it’s such a sweet joy when a package arrives on my doorstep and even if it’s simply a box of diapers, my heart jumps a little.
And isn’t a slightly elevated credit card bill worth that joyous moment in my day?
I would think so.

And so to stay in the giddy spirit I have found a way to order vitamins, diapers, food, books…you name it actually, if I can find a better deal online, I will have it shipped.
PLUS.
In my defense, the cost of gas is too insane to be driving around anyway, so really I’m SAVING us money when all is said and done!!!
Now let’s move on to my other exciting purchase that I couldn’t resist.
Because, ahem…I NEEDED it.

When I saw pottery barn jewelry holder being used as a fruit basket here, I knew it was meant to be mine.  And in 7-10 days it will be.
My fruit is going to be so happy.
I’m pretty sure when Jimmy told me to cut back on spending, he meant AFTER those two purchases.
Oh but wait….I think I need this particular duvet cover too…

and then of course HauteLook is having an amazeballs sale on Korres All Natural Products today, and I really have been wanting to try their primer…
Ya, so I’m definitely thinking he must have meant after that…
Ahh who cares, all that matters is….MAMA’S HAPPY!
{maybe all this happiness is coming also from the supplements i started taking today, which guess what?  i ordered online as well.  double happy!}

  1. Love some Korres products! Not the biggest fan of their primer though. I’m curious to try some of that face mask and lotion though!

  2. I love you, and Ummm I am soo itching to do some online shopping now 😉
Unfortunately I may have to go try some things on though. Ugh, I hate the dressing room.

  3. I love online shopping.. where are you getting diapers? I have found that diapers.com has some things that are more expensive and others are the same price or cheaper.

  4. I feel the same way about online shopping! I stalk the mailman every day. I know what his mail truck sounds like. Because I love mail just as much as I love getting packages. LOL. So sad… but very true! I love that Jewelry stand, that would be perfect for my dresser to hold all of my skin products, perfume oils, etc. You should check out Urban Outfitters for stuff like that too. I have the cutest bird jewelry trees that I bought many years ago. Absolutely darling!

  5. Oh, I love the phone cover, and the duvet! now, I also love to shop, so this could be an issue…
I read back on your Tracy Anderson posts! good for you for sticking it out 30 days! I love her videos, but have never tried her whole program. However, I am a huge “non dieter” so my ED therapist would probably jump on my back if I tried to follow the diet part…he really is such a spoilsport!

  6. Summer: two words. Dave Ramsey.

I love to shop too, but girl, you gotta get rid of the credit cards! That’s so not “chic”.

He has revolutionized our lives. Debt free by November. Love it.

  7. right there with ya Sarah!!!

We’ve been debt free for years too!!! (well other than our house!) We pay the credit cards off each month, so it’s all good. I just gotta stay on budget so we can CONTINUE to pay them off each month! =)

  8. That’s amazing! Not many have the discipline to do that! Go you- frugal shopper!
