It’s just that I started this redecorating thing, and now I just. can’t. stop.
It’s taken over my life, and it won’t let go until I finish what I’ve started.

In fact, those last three paragraphs?
Ya ummmm, took me 20 minutes to write.
No joke.
So, this weekend was insane.
On Saturday I started working/cleaning/sorting first thing in the morning and didn’t stop (or sit) until close to 10 at night.

I even shampooed my carpets all by myself, and people, I have the calluses to prove it!
I meant to get to my couch and chairs as well…but then decided that I would much rather pay ANY amount of money, than to continue that god awful horrible chore.
What the heck was I thinking???
I was not meant for manual labor.
{yes, you’re thinking “duh”…I hear you…}
Anyway….

So now just as soon as I get chairs for this table…and repaint the top of that desk back there….
{searching for 5-6 different black chairs, all for under $250}
…I should be able to return back to life as normal, which I promise, does include this blog and you.

I just saw a posting on our craigslist for a white pedestal table with 4 chairs. I’m fighting everything I have in me right now not to buy it.

Yesterday I finished doing my moving from the old house to the new one… what a freaking mission and a half! I am so sore today. Now it’s finally time to make this house a home. That’s what I am going to start doing this afternoon.
I wish I was rich so I could do it all right?!

I have a white table and searched everywhere for different black chairs…I ended up getting all the same ones but I found tons for cheap-o at Garden Ridge!
Room is looking good:-) I can’t WAIT to work on mine! We’re doing our hardwood floors in my room next weekend, then painting and furnishing . . . fun times right?!

I’m SURE you’ve considered this option, as you are super awesome and thrifty, but have you thought about thrift stores/flea markets/consignment places to purchase cheap chairs, and (manual labor suggestion alert) paint them black? You might find a cool hodgepodge of styles, for much less! IF you haven’t already thought of it 😉 Looking great so far!!
