My interesting comment of the day is that the dental anesthetic that is pregnancy-safe is not nearly as effective as the normal Novocaine. It does wear off a lot faster though. Learned that the hard way last night. Oh, also, the safest time to do dental work is in the 2nd trimester. Lucky me.
