Todays fashion Friday was inspired by my fantasy as of late.
The fantasy of being a working mom.
Ahhhh, sounds beautiful just saying (typing) the words.
Yes, I know…
the grass is always greener on the other side.
ya, ya, ya….
Anyway, when I saw this suit a few weeks ago at Goodwill, I quickly scooped it up.
I don’t actually know where I’ll wear it,
but just knowing that I have a suit makes me feel that much more professional.
Although, to keep things professional, maybe I should let out that hem a little bit.
It’s a bit Alley McBeal dontcha think?
Ahhh, remember Alley McBeal?
I loved that show, it was definitely one of my happy shows.
Ahhhh, I so mass miss that odd little group of people…
But, at least now I have Glee.
Glee is most DEFINITELY my go to happy show.
Glee and Puck.
I love Puck.

Anyway, kind of got off on a tangent there…

You are so right about the grass always being greener. I am a working mom. My 7 month old comes to work with me EVERY DAY and my two y/o is in daycare after coming with me for the first 14 months….its amazing to be with my children-but having to work at my job and be a mommy simultaneously is ROUGH.
