I love love.
And I’m not afraid to admit that I am a sucker for Valentines Day.
This year I’m super excited to make it special for the kids,
so that they grow up knowing that this day doesn’t have to be just about couples….
It can be about showing and giving love
to everyone around us….
I not only want to make it special for them,
I want it to become meaningful.
This way there will never be a year that they feel alone.
Because they’ll know it’s not about them,
and what they have or don’t have.
It’ll simply be a day that they get another chance to give their love to others.

That’s the cutest thing ever. I cant wait to share this day with my little one when as he gets older.
I bought my partner a pair of love birds who are velcroed together and my son loves them.
I figure its a little bit of mummy and daddy for him to hold onto.

I love Valentines Day too and it totally annoys me when people say Hallmark made it up, because they totally didn’t! I just like to have an excuse to spend the day with my honey cuddled up and not wanting to do anything else.

I did nothing… no-thing. Woke up with a migrane and felt like vomiting one minute and like I had been hit in the frontal lobe with a cricket bat the next. Sucky suck suck!

Great idea! I have homemade cards that I 1/2 way made, sitting here… still need “glue” and “words” to fill them. Ugh. Fever and sore throat don’t help. DO you think they’ll care if they’re a day late?
it’s so nice you made v-day special for your kids! i remember LOVING it as a kid because you would get valentine’s from everyone in your class at school and you’d get candy. my parents still give me valentines and it really is nice to share the day with everyone, not just your partner.
I’m just glad it’s over! Maybe someday I’ll have a valentine again.

I remember decorating the tissue boxes in grade school so we could pass out valentines.. aww.. I miss those days! =)
