For the last year, okay, since I turned the big 3-0, I’ve noticed these annoying lines that seem to be lasting.
On my face. And they are so OOC. {out of control, per Rachel Zoe.}
To honest, I’m not so much loving it. Nuh uh. Especially these ones that have happily settled on my forehead.
Now I know a year ago, I was all, Yay I’m so excited to be in my 30’s…blah, blah, blah….
And I am, really I am.
It’s just that I’m not loving the lines. The wisdom, yes. {You have been noticing all the wisdom, right?} But, the lines, not so much.
So when I heard that bangs were the new face lift, I was all, um….yes please, thank you very much. Only, not in a rushing to the hairdresser kind of way. Because when it comes to my hair, I’m a little obsessed.
Instead, I have spent the last week scouring the internet looking at pictures, talking to friends, talking to Jimmy, showing Jimmy pictures…and now posting about it.
And I still have quite a few weeks before my next appointment.
I don’t know though, these pictures are just so stinkin cute. And since I can’t afford botox, and I certainly can’t afford a face lift, maybe I should bite the bullet and do the next best thing….
Yes, no, maybe so?
P.S. Bear with my site, as it’s under construction a bit. We’re messing with the sizing, settings, and all that jazz….

YEP! I’m getting mine back this wknd! I love bangs…I think you would look amazing, however I dont think you have anything you need to hide lady!
WhAt…NO…you don’t have anything to hide. Try the vaseline…it works wonders i tell ya. I swear it makes my face softer and tighter because of it. I use it daily and swear by it. Haven’t had a break out in quite sometime either. Which you’d think you’d have because it’s greasy…but NOPE :)- If you get the bangs, i bet you would look HOT!!!
I think you should go for it! I’m a little obsessed when it comes to my hair too. I’ve thought about getting bangs, but I’m scared. 🙂
I love bangs on certain people, and I think that they would look great on you, go for it, if it doesnt look, it’ll grow out, but I think you would love it!!!!

2 years ago I walked into the salon and said ‘i either need botox or bangs and I can’t afford botox…so bangs it is!’
I, for one, am a big supporter of the bangs. I have a five-head, so its kinda necessary. Go for it! They’ll grow back (fast) if you don’t like it.

Ok, that kinda face lift would drive me batty, can’t stand hair on my face, but now that I’m the big 4-0 I too am having your concerns… I spose I probably will go face lift with 5 years because I can stand the thought of botox every 3 months for the rest of my life – ewe ewe
Bangs are the way to go!! Definately ..and they grow back if you dont like them..which you will..!!

Do the bangs! Im a hairstylist and they are all the rage. If you hate them give it 2 weeks and you can sweep them over to the side as a swoop bang. Good Luck:)

You’d look cute with bangs. I love them on some people. I’m not one of those people, sadly.
I have bangs, but then, I never follow style. Lol. I’ll be 40 on Oct 28th and my friend (that I’ve known for 30 years) said, “Aleta, you have no wrinkles!” Shhhhh, don’t tempt Mother Nature!
i have bangs. bangs are fun. i keep them a bit long {slightly below eyebrows} so i can style them forward, to the side, or back. have fun and good luck. remember: if you hate them, i love headbands and headbands are real Gossip Girl hot!
how funny! i’ve been dreaming about bangs a lot lately. wanting them but not being sure enough. my hair is super duper long right now, and i’m not exactly sure i can take the plunge myself, so i’ll let you test the waters! you’re adorable already, but i think they’d look great on you! go for it! nice thing about hair is that you can change the style, even if you can’t change the cut right away. 😉
I have a love/hate relationship with bangs. I had them for years and year growing up, then I grew them out just to cut them a few years later. I keep going back and forth. I love my bangs for a few days after I cut them, and then they annoy me to no end when they get blown around in the wind or stick to my forehead! I cut mine again a few weeks ago and love them, but am already waiting for them to grow out!
I like the bangs that are long enough to sweep to the side. I’m not a fan of the blunt cut bang. IMHO.
I was JUST talking about this with some girlies today!!! The lines that are on my forehead… and the one in-between my eyes because I scowl too much. I don’t know what to do! I don’t know what product to use! I don’t want to pay a load of mulah for something that doesn’t work.
So, can I tell YOU to go for the bangs? And then, if you love them, I’ll try? =^) I have “fringe,” but haven’t done actual BANGS since high school Oh, the dilEMma!
DO IT! I love bangs. Always been a bang girl, even when no bangs were the hottest thing… So go for it… if you don’t like ’em, they’ll grow out 🙂

Get bangs- I have them and I’m 31- I always get taken for 25 no joke. Bangs make you look a lot younger. Go for it!!!

I think bangs would look great on you. I’ve been debating bangs or sideswept bangs ever since I saw Hilary Swank on the cover of Marie Claire. I was actually going to post about it. I look good with bangs, but always get mad at myself when I want to grow them out because it’s a bitch.
Take the plunge! I am thinking of getting them cut again. Mine grew out in 2 weeks flat last time.
