The other night when I was out with girls we got to talking about, well girls. And the complete drama we can bring when there is either no reason or something so silly that really, it can again, be considered no reason.
For some crazy weird reason, my bestest friends admitted that they didn’t much like me when they first met me.
I know, close your mouths, I was just as shocked as you all are right now.
I mean, look at me….I’m so lovable.
I don’t quite get the whole making a decision about a person before you really know them. But, I also know that us girls don’t always make sense. And sometimes we allow our emotions to dictate things that a lot of times we often regret. {For example, not liking me. You WILL regret that.}
Wait a second. I just remembered that Jimmy didn’t like me either when he first met me. Actually he didn’t like me before he met me. Huh, okay. So maybe it isn’t just a girl thing.
Here’s what I have to say about all of that.
I’m. So. Sure!!!
Get over yourself, and just love me from the beginning. It’s much easier on my emotions and feelings that way. Since, you know, I hate not being liked. And I love being loved.
I’m complicated that way. Don’t try to figure me out.

So love me or hate me, but eventually you all will love me.
Just wanted to let you know.

well I don’t hate you, so does that mean I love you???
I don’t believe some of the people who say I know someone from the first 30 seconds I meet them. No you don’t. You have no clue who that person is and what they have go through in their lives. The only thing you are going to get in 30 seconds is something to judge.
While my friends have made a judgement on a fellow mom, I’ve got to know her more through dance class, they have only seen or been around her for a short period of time.

I think there’s something to be said for confidence. I am the same way. People thinks automatically that I’m snobby or bitchy just because I carry myself well and have confidence in the way I react to things. And I think that scares people into automatically going into defense mode and assuming you’re not likeable. Or this is at least what I’ve told myself b/c it happens to me often too.
Us girlies are so fickle!! I probably wouldn’t like myself if I ever met me on the street!

oh so totally. i have hated some of my bestest friends, and i’ve loved some people who turned out to be so wrong for me. i know that deep down inside i have pretty good intuition, but my judgements and insecurities have been much louder at certain times in my life (ahhm, when i was MUCh less mature than i am now, you know). i love you so much now, summer, i don’t even remember what i thought of you before blogs… funny! muah!
