I’m sick. So sick. Like I can’t talk or eat sick. Sore throat sick. The kind of sick that makes me wonder if I will live till tomorrow. And I don’t exaggerate either. Nope, not at all.
Did I mention I’m going on my annual girls Vegas trip on Saturday? Um ya, so it’s imperative that I go back to bed and wait for my best friend Mama Kat* to show up and take care of me….
If I don’t make it….then know that I loved you all.

I’m packing up the chicken noodle soup and I’ll be spooning it into your mouth in no time at all.
And then I’ll spoon Jimmy. Hey, SOMEONE needs to fill in for you right??? I’m a really good friend.
My wife is under the weather, too, and the kids don’t know how to handle it. Get better soon!

Ugh..I hate that kind of sick. You don’t want to talk sick and you consider spraying that disgusting ‘supposed to numb your throat’ stuff into the back of your mouth and you gag which just makes it hurt more.

Watch Kat… I hear she tells babies they’re ugly when they cry. I mean, unless that baby is in fact ugly, then that’s just mean. 🙂 Ha.
You know what you need? A princess crown. I have a sequinned crown I like to put on when I’m sick b/c I’m pretty sure it makes people feel worse for me. “Look at poor Lacey. That crown is just drawing attention to the fact that she looks like shi*” So then they buy me Icees and make me soup because they pity me. See how that works? Like magic.

i’m sorry you are under the weather. there’s really nothing worse than mommy being sick. my family is really good about leaving me alone while i am sick, but NOTHING gets done and there’s always lots of laundry and stuff waiting for me when i am feeling better.

I totally hope you feel better … that totally sucks and you must get better for your trip. Why does that kind of stuff always happen when cool things are coming up.

Its a rule that when you have an awesome girl weekend planned, you get sick. A rule of the universe that cannot be broken. BUT the good news is, alcohol cures all, so you will not be sick in Vegas (but when you get home, watch out!)
